Coming in 2020

One of the projects I am working on this year is to develop an Upcycled Bottle Art jewellery line from recycled wine bottles. ⁠

Having the artistic background of a glass fusing artist, I am quite spoiled by the endless possibilities of mixing and layering colourful art glass.

When working with recycled glass, mixing pieces from differently coloured bottles is a big no-no as each type of glass has a different coefficient of expansion (short COE). When you mix incompatible types of glass that differ in COE, you risk that your piece will crack during the cooling process.

Hence, I am limited in variety of colour available... and have to make up for that with interesting shapes and layers. What do you think?
